The 1st meeting of the European program "Teacher Education on Robotics-Enhanced Constructivist Pedagogical Methods-TERECOP 128959-CP-1-2006-1-GR- COMENIUS -C21". project TERECoP was held in Patras, Greece (9-13 Dec 2006) organized by ASPETE (coordinating institution).

The participants were: Dimitris Alimisis (ASPETE, project coordinator), Borivoj Brdicka (CUNI), Georgeta and Dumitru Chirlesan (UP-RO), Irene Pagello (IT+R), Michele Moro (DEI), Javier Arlegui and Alfredo Pina (UPNA), Liliane Aravecchia (IUFM), Sissy Papanikolaou, Stassini Frangou (ASPETE) as partners, and Trisevgeni Karabetsou as secretary (ASPETE).

The following subjects were discussed on 11/12/2006 and 12/12/2006:

• introducing partners (persons and institutions)
• project organization and evaluation
• communication structures
• financial, management issues and contractual obligations
• synthesis of the relevant national and international research literature
• working on the development of a methodology, incorporating findings from the study of the relevant literature, for designing robotics-enhanced constructivist learning
• agreement on an action plan for the next months of the 1st year of the project
• defining roles for the partners, next steps and deadlines
